The Third Committee of the United Nations General Assembly, as its name suggests, is charged with examining a range of social and humanitarian issues. Delegates in this committee will make use of parliamentary procedure and gain a greater understanding of the operation of the UN as they seek to represent the beliefs of their respective countries and come to agreement on solutions to some of the most critical problems facing the world today.
