Our Conference: ClarkMUN

Clark Model United Nations is a high school Model United Nations conference held annually on Clark University’s campus in Worcester, MA. It attracts various high schools from all over the New England region. This past year, the conference was held on November 21, 2015.

Since its inception, ClarkMUN has continued to recreate the spirited diplomacy practiced in the United Nations and to provide future generations of leaders a chance to explore their skills and talents through public speaking, writing, and negotiating.

With a particular emphasis on teaching delegates and offering them experiences to build their skill sets, our conference offers an environment conducive to the diplomatic practices found at the highest level of statesmanship. Through special guest lectures and real-time crisis to keep delegates actively engaged, ClarkMUN is an intellectually stimulating and enjoyable conference you do not want to miss out on.

 

ClarkMUN is organized by our top-ranked Model United Nations Program with over thirty staffers from across the globe. Our enthusiastic staff shares a true passion for international affairs and global development and displays high levels of professionalism, enthusiasm, and approachable attitude.

Our Program: MUN at Clark

The Clark University Model UN program is ranked no. 17 in the 2015-2016 North American College Model UN: World Division Final Rankings. We have had four members of our travel team selected to the North American College Model UN All-Star Team, including for the past three years in a row.

 

The objective of our Model UN program is to understand the structure and functioning of the United Nations through active and experiential learning.

 

Model United Nations (Model UN or MUN) is an academic re-creation of the United Nations, which seeks to educate students about real world events, international relations, foreign policy, history, economics, finance, globalization, and multilateral diplomacy through simulation in a highly competitive setting.
